Camp Overview

Training on course of one of our annual focus races with race execution and course familiarity as focus. 

Warm sunny training location for all athletes regardless of race schedule or distance

Great training and coaching opportunity for everyone.

Nightly seminars, (race execution, how to race 70.3 national champs.) nutrition, equipment etc. 

One on one data analysis on request of days training.

Tentative Schedule

every morning will start with a team meeting. we will talk about goals for the camp, goals for the day and how to best execute training to get the most out of it

Tuesday: Travel Day

  • Plan on arriving by 6:00pm. The Condo will be available at 4:00

  • Go over all of your equipment and be 100% ready for tomorrow.

  • Quick team introductions and mixers 

Wednesday: Bike, Run, Swim Day

  • Morning Snow Canyon ride with Brick run

  • lunch 

  • Tech swim session: Sand hollow Aquatics Center. 

  • Race execution seminar: general 70.3 and specific St George course prep.  

  • Team Dinner at the Condo

ThurFull course ride and brick run, consultations

  • Ride from sand hollow reservoir. Full course ride. 

  • Brick run on course.  

  • Recovery, massage, relax at the pool

  • One on one consults and training data review upon request.

  • Race Foxy Training Seminar

  • Team Dinner at the Condo 

Friday:   Long run and Swim, consultations

  • Long Run

  • Recovery ride (highly recommended) 

  • Tech swim session: Sand Hollow Aquatics Center

  • One on one consults and training data review upon request

  • Dinner Out, athlete responsible for cost

SaturdayWeakness training, long fun ride, consultations  

Weakness day/ your choice. Example options will include

  • swim coaching available with enough interest

  • Full old Ironman loop ride

SundayTravel Day

  • Plan to depart no later than 11:00am

Athlete expectations

Athletes will arrive at camp in good physical health prepared for 4 consecutive training days. All equipment will be in good condition and well maintained

All training efforts are “self-paced.” There will be ride and run support and individual routes may be modified at the discretion of Camp Leadership to ensure quality of training and safety for all athletes

Training is not “one size fits all.” Athletes are encouraged and expected to make decision based on their own current training level, expectations of camp, and race plans and goals.
